A member of the Association of Otorhinolaryngologists and Cervicofacial Surgeons of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
She began her professional career as a physician in the Ministry of Health of Sarajevo Canton. Currently, she works as a phoniatrics subspecialist, with many years of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of ear, nose, and throat diseases.
She specializes in performing surgical procedures in laryngoscopy and microlaryngoscopy, including the diagnosis and laryngeal surgical treatment of benign and malignant tumors of the laryngopharynx, partial and total laryngectomies, insertion and replacement of voice prostheses, vocal cord lateral fixation, neck dissection, as well as tonsillectomies, adenoidectomies, tracheotomies, and surgical management of head and neck injuries.
She has particularly excelled in clinical research for pharmaceutical companies and has contributed to numerous international congresses and symposiums in the field of otorhinolaryngology.
She actively participates in academic activities, including the preparation of a master's thesis on the topic "The Role and Significance of Helicobacter pylori in the Development of Benign Changes in the Mucosa of the Larynx."
Her publications include significant articles published in prestigious journals and presentations at international congresses, where she showcased her research and experiences in otorhinolaryngology and phoniatrics.
